Community Support is at our Core

One of the services that we offer here at Create Action is our service as a fundraising platform for community orgs, artists, and performers. We want to help you make your projects a reality.

The basic model is simple: we design a shirt together, we advertise the shirt, Create Action handles production and fufillment, and you receive a payout of $10 per shirt upon completion of the fundraiser. There are no upfront costs and no order minimums.

We ran our first fundraiser back in January as a way of benefitting FIEL Houston, a local immigrant rights organization. They have been doing important work for a long time, and that work has become even more important in the face of ICE actions across the country and here, in Houston. They are just one of the groups that continues to fight for justice following the shooting death of Lorenzo Salgado Arajuo by ICE agent Gregory Feathers on July 7. While we made our initial donation of $110 in February, we decided to keep this fundraiser going indefinitely. We’re getting ready to make our next donation at the beginning of November 2026.

Another fundraiser that is winding down this month is this “KEEP BIG BEND BEAUTIFUL” shirt. We are trying to raise $500 for the WEST TEXAS: Beyond the Headlines documentary from Jessica Flores and Aixa Tovar. As of this writing, on October 13, we have raised $360. The fundraiser officially ends on October 15, so we have just a few more days to make it happen!

Don’t worry. They’ll get the money we have raised so far, even if we don’t hit our $500 goal by the deadline.

Stay tuned for updates on new fundraisers or for more information on how we can work together on one for you and your cause.
